The North Alabama Highway Safety Office (NAHSO) is working with health professionals and rescue personnel from the local hospitals, fire departments, rescue and ambulance services. NAHSO will assist in providing local training and education programs for local hospital emergency room personnel as well as volunteer rescue squads and fire departments who provide first-on-the-scene medical response at traffic accidents.
